LED T8 Sign Lamps

Satco has introduced a new line of LED T8 Sign lamps. The ideal product for retrofitting existing signs or for new installations. This family of lamps has LED light sources placed back to back through the center of lamps, providing full illumination in two directions; perfect for signs where light is required on both sides. In addition, they come with a frosted lens providing even light distribution and rotatable R17d end caps which allow them to be adjusted to the sockets and direction required.

The new offering of ballast bypass LED lamps are easy to install and operate on direct 120-277V line voltage, eliminating the need for replacement ballasts or external LED drivers.

They are live on the website now for individual product sheets to be downloaded, they are listed on page 88 of the new “Satco LED Quick Reference Guide”, and will be available in Mid-February in all Satco Distribution Centers.

LED T8 Dual Mode (Ballast Bypass/Ballast Compatible) 15/8" U-bend Lamps

In a product line expansion of the “Dual Mode” LED T8 lamps, Satco is now introducing a new U-Bend with 1 5/8” leg spacing. Like the popular 4’ linear T8, these are both safety listed as a Type A (ballast compatible) lamp as well as for Type B (ballast bypass). When installed as ballast compatible, it can be used on approved Instant Start, Rapid Start, Dimming, or EM ballasts* and when in the ballast is bypassed, it can accept 120-277V in either a single ended wiring configuration or double ended.

The new family of lamps replaces the traditional FB31T8, using only 13W when in bypass or 16W (system wattage**) when in ballast compatible mode, saving up to more than 50% in energy costs.
