Improving Energy Efficiency with LED Lighting at St. Michael's Episcopal Church

St. Michael's Episcopal Church, located at 4499 Sharp Rd. in Mandeville, LA, recently underwent a lighting upgrade with the help of contractor Allphase Electric and manufacturers Satco and ESL Vision. The project was made possible by Cleco's Power Wise program, which incentivizes businesses and organizations to adopt energy-efficient technologies and reduce their energy consumption.

With the help of Allphase Electric and the energy-efficient LED tubes provided by Satco and ESL Vision, the contractor was able to replace all of the fluorescent lighting in the pre-school buildings with LED lighting. This upgrade has significantly reduced the energy consumption at the church, with an estimated savings of 79,212 kWh.
